The first part covers Mendelian genetics, the molecular bases of Mendelian genetics and extensions of Mendelian genetics. The second part covers sex determination, sex chromosomes, and chromosome mutations. Finally, the third part covers extranuclear Inheritance. This course includes two lectures and one laboratory session, which includes experiments dealing with mitosis, meiosis, working with Drosophila, and karyotyping experiments. | 2011/2012, 2012/2013, 2014/2015, 2016/2017 | | | This class covers basic introductory topics in Biology. It covers: how to use compound microscope, large biological molecules and lipids, the cell, cell membrane, Plant tissues, animal tissues, and genetics. | September, 2012- June 2013, and February.2014- June.2015, (three semesters) | | | This course is a basic plant biology class that coves the following areas: the concept of plant biology, the importance of plants to life, plant morphology, plant nomenclature, seedless plant and seed plants. This course includes weekly three lectures and one laboratory session, which includes experiments dealing with the mentioned topics. | September 2014- June.2015 | | | This course is a basic plant physiology class that coves the following areas: water -plant relationship, transpiration, nutrients uptake & plant nutrition, photosynthesis, plant hormones, phytochromes and plant response to stress.
