This course is designed to help the students to gain good broad perspective of community health nursing. The complete health appraisal learned previously is used to guide the concepts of the individuals within the family and the family within the community either in illness or wellness. All concepts of the nusing process within the family and self care framework are applied. Analysis of roles and interactions of the community helath nurse with individuals, family, and community is to be worked upon. Related topics to the primary health care aspects and community health will be applied during the course.
Fourth Year
  
This course focuses on introducing the student to the group and population based nursing practice by reinforcing the primary health care activities, the course prepares the student with basic knowledge & skills required to provide promotive, preventive, curative and rehabilitative care to specific population groups and communities who are well, ill or at risk in various community setting

This course is designed to introduce the students to the theories and techniques of health education, teaching skills, methods in health and health promotion to clients, families, and community. the course is planned to facilitate integration, application, and evaluation of specific information regarding to health promotion theory, research and practice. Emphasis would be on preventive aspect of health as well as client education. Students will have the opportunity to apply course material to design and implement client education programs to clients with common health problem
Third Year
  
The purpose of this course is to introduce the undergradute nursing students to research process as presented in professional nursing literature. It aims at introducing the basic concepts of research, its nature, purpose, methods, literature review, and data collection, analysis and utilization. It will explore research problems in nursing, appropriate methodologies and designs and ethical implications. Emphasis will be on the applicability and implementation of the research process to nursing and related problems.
Fourth Year
  
The aim of this course is to provide the student with the information and essential skills to promote the meaning of comprehensive health and the prevention of the chronic diseases. It provides the student with the latest scientific information about the healthy lifestyle at the individual level, family level and community level and about unhealthy lifestyle and how to prevent diseases. This course focuses on the importance of health topics which are related the university students such as: smoking, obesity, cancer, diabetes mellitus, psychological health, family planning, changes in teenagers, safe motherhood, preparation for marriage, gender differences and other topics related to the health of individual, family and community.
