Mufleh Al-Hweitat is an Associate Professor of Medieval Arabic Literature in the College of Languages at the University of Jordan/ Aqaba, where he serves as the Chairman of the Department of Arabic Language and Literature. His teaching and research interests include classical and modern Arabic poetry. He has published several articles about classical, medieval and modern Arabic literature in many international peer-reviewed journals. He has long experience in curriculum design and curriculum development in the Ministry of Education in Jordan.
