My present interest in research is directed in one on the synthesis and characterization of liquid crystalline models and polymers, containing mesogenic, non-mesogenic, heterocyclic and carbohydrate units. IR, HNMR, differential scanning calorimetry (DSC

x-ray diffraction pattern and hot-stage polarizing microscopy usually used for characterize these materials.

2. My research is also directed on the thermodynamics properties of electrolyte and non- electrolyte binary and ternary component solutions. Viscosities, density dielectric constant and refractive indices are needed for such sort of studies.

3. Some studies on degradation and stability of polymers using spectroscopic methods are also representing a target of my research as it can seen from the coming publications

4. Recent interest is concerning modification of unsaturated polyester and epoxy resins by physically and chemically blending and study their physical, mechanical and morphological properties
