The course will cover advanced information about viruses affect animals, plant and bacteria with regard to their structure and assembly, genome classification and gene expression within viral replication and salient features of transcriptional gene silencing, Post transcriptional gene silencing, satellite viruses and satellite RNAs and virods.  
  
The course provide information about the intricate mechanism of viral gene expression and replication elucidating the  impact of nucleic acid structure, consensus sequence and other modification on the translation and replication processes. In addition the course would provide information on the evolution and genetics of plant viruses with some practical implications .
  
To provide basic information about viruses, their structure and architecture, transmission pathogeneses, genetics and replication and some important diseases and their control.
  
The course covers the factors affecting the epidemics of diseases, as well as methods and techniques in management of diseases.
