Course description
This course introduces the students to the concepts and issues related to maintenance of health through the prevention of occupational hazards for nurses, clients, and community. It includes safety measures in relation to the nurse's and clients immediate accidents, planning safety precautions, and teaching prevention measures.. Students will demonstrate a base of knowledge in the recognition and assessment of health and safety hazards in any clinical setting

This course is designed to introduce the students to management and leadership concepts and principles necessary to promote students' ability to manage care and make appropriate decisions related to clients.
These concepts and principles are also necessary to facilitate students' growth as future leaders able to affect quality of care and introduce change when necessary. Management process is used as a framework in designing the content of the ourse.

this course is designed to introduce nursing students to the main concepts and principles that are related to growth and development of children , adolescents, adults and elderly people. It focuses on the physical, psychosocial and cognitive changes during these age periods . This course will enable nursing students to develop a comprehensive and holistic nursing care for individuals in each age group and to their families . The framework of the course will be based on the concept of health maintenance and promotion.
