Please find below a brief biography of mine:
I am currently a Professor of Pharmaceutics and Industrial Pharmacy in the School of Pharmacy at the University of Jordan (SP-UJ).
I have earned his my BSc degree in Pharmacy from this college back in 1996 then joined the SP-UJ as a Teaching Assistant in the same year. I joined the Graduate Program in Industrial Pharmacy at the University of Cincinnati James L. Winkle College of Pharmacy in 1998 to get my PhD in Industrial Pharmacy under the supervision of Prof. A. Sakr. I finished my graduate education in 2003. Afterwards, I joined the University of Jordan as an Assistant Professor.
I have served as Chairman of the Department of Pharmaceutics at the SP-UJ for 9 years and the vice Dean of the SP-UJ for tow years. I have also I have also worked as a part time lecturer at the German Jordanian University (GJU) department of Chemical and Pharmaceutical Engineering (CPE) where I helped design Pharmaceutical Technology courses.
I have served as a member of the Technical Committee for New Drugs Regsitration and the Bioequivalence Committee at the Jordan Food and Drug administration (JFDA) and was the vice Chairman of the Institutional Review Board (IRB) of the International Pharmaceutical Research Center (IPRC), the leading contract resarch organization in Jordan in the area of bioequivalence and clinical studies.
I am currently teaching, supervising graduate students and doing research in the area of pharmaceutical materials, processes and formulation technology.
I am passionate about teaching, mentoring young professional and scientists, understanding how things work and generating solutions for better life.
