Light Challenge
An
artistic competition in celebrating the 2015 International Year of Light at UJ

by Dr. Hanan Sa'adeh, Departent of Physics
Themes
The general theme of the light challenge is
"Light is life and art". Use your inspiration and feelings to express
"light" in a creative way (photo, video, wallpaper, poem, song,
story, game, caricature, show/play) in one of the following categories:
Science, Nature, Art, Culture, Religion
Requirements
1- The competition is open to all students at the
University of Jordan.
2- Registration through the Participation Form is
mandatory.
3- Individual and Team participations are both
welcome. For team participation, the number of participants must not exceed
three, and one participant must be registered as a principal participant.
4- Participation in more than one category is
allowed, provided that the participant submits a separate participation form
for every category.
5- All participations must be original work and have
not been submitted before for any other competitions.
6- Any participation that does not fulfill the above
requirements will not be considered for evaluation.
Prizes
- Prizes will be awarded for the best participation
in every category.
- Certificates of participation will be given to all
participants.
- Prizes and certificates will be awarded at the
closing ceremony of “Light up with Physics”.
