Dr. Hanan Sa’adeh has been invited, in her capacity as external examiner of PhD dissertation, to the University of Pretoria, Pretoria, South Africa. The PhD candidate Mrs Hameda Ali Abrass, supervised by Prof. Chris Theron, presented a public lecture about her dissertation titled “Cobalt silicides formation through a diffusion barrier”, and the examination process took place in the Department of Physics, University of Pretoria, on Tuesday 22 September 2015. During this visit, Dr. Sa’adeh met faculty members of Physics department and discussed potential future collaborations.
The University of Pretoria, established in 1908, is one of the leading higher education institutions in Africa and indeed in the world.
