As a part of her participation in the European Conference on
X-Ray Spectrometry (EXRS 2018), 24-29 June 2018, at the Ljubljana Exhibition
and Convention centre, Ljubljana, Slovenia, Dr. Hanan Sa’adeh presented a poster
titled "An Assessment of the Atmospheric Impact of Construction Work on Fine
Particulate Matter in The University of Jordan: A PIXE Study".

Additionally, Dr. Sa’adeh visited the 3.5-MeV electrostatic
accelerator, TANDETRON, of the Jožef Stefan Institute (JSI), the leading scientific
research institute in Slovenia.
The EXRS 2018 was organized by The Jožef Stefan Institute in
collaboration with the University of Ljubljana, and with the support of the
International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
The EXRS is a biennial conference series started in 1984 in
Goteborg. It has become a traditional meeting for scientists from around the
world working in x-ray spectrometry or using one of its several techniques:
X-ray fluorescence, electron microprobe, PIXE, XRD, etc.
