The Faculty of Science honors top graduates

The Faculty of Science at the University of Jordan Honored top graduates of the 44th class , as an initiative to encourage students to excel and innovate. The Vice President for Scientific Research, Graduate Studies and Quality, Prof. Hala Khyami-Horani, handed over certificates and gifts to top three students in every department at the faculty. The Vice-President for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Prof. Shtaywy S. Abdalla, handed a shield for the General Director of the Specialty Hospital, Dr. Fawzi AL Hammouri, due to his support in buying gifts for the students. As well, Prof. Shtaywy Abdalla handed another shield for the General Director of Al-Tawfik Automobile & Equipment Company, Mr. Tariq AL Tabba’a , due to his support in providing the faculty with some equipment. Lubabah AL- Sheikh won the first place at mathematics Olympiad In addition, the third year student at Mathematics Department, Lubabah AL- Sheikh, has been honored at the ceremony after her winning the first place at mathematics Olympiad, which was held on the sidelines of the meeting of Faculties of Science Association at Arab Universities Association, which was held last February at Holy Spirit University of Kaslik in Lebanon. The student, Lubaabah expressed her deep thanks for the Faculty and its administration for giving her the chance to participate in the Olympics, calling on her fellows to make more efforts ; to excel. For his part, the Dean of the Faculty of Science, Prof. Fuad A. Kittaneh, congratulated distinguished students, and said that the faculty will honor all distinguished faculty and administrative members . In addition, Prof. Kittaneh stated " this faculty has made a lot of achievements in both local and global levels, and has distinguished in completing global scientific research that promotes UJ globally." It is noteworthy that The Faculty of Science is one of the old faculties at UJ, it includes mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, and Geology Departments. Also it offers undergraduates and postgraduates programs in all departments and includes 140 faculty members.
