In the past 15 years I have reviewed more than 150 articles submitted for publication in refereed journals. I have also conducted scientific reviewes for several books upon the request of several universities.
  
1. Scientific consultant for the Arab Guide for special educational and rehabilitation terms, 2001.
2.  Providing consultation services to several agencies working with disabled persons in the United Arab Emirates (1994-1995).
3.  Providing consultation services for special education centers in Jordan (1985-   ).
4. Consultancy mission, UNESCO on Training of Omani trainers in dealing with special needs in regular schools, UNESCO, Beirut Office, March, 1997.
5.  Consultation to the Ministry of Education on educating children with mild intellectual disabilities, the European Commission, 2007.

I  participated in the scientific committees for more than 100 theses and dissetrtaions addressing various special education topics including: learning disabilities, behavior analysis, parents of children with special needs, visual and hearning impairments, special education teachers, behavior disorders, special education assessment and programming, special education program evaluation, health needs of children with special needs, intellectual disbilities, counseling, and many other issues and practices in the fields of special education and counseling.
