His academic interests include project appraisal, water economics, environmental economics, risk analysis and integrated water resource management. His professional consultations cover financial analysis, investment appraisal environmental economics of natural resources, water and technology adoption. He published several articles appeared in Agricultural Water Management, Agricultural Systems, Journal of Arid Environment, Quarterly Journal of International Agriculture, Water Policy.
