BA- This course aims to clarify intellectaul property rights in general as they are arranged under the Jordanian legislation and the international conventions.
The course particularly focuses on the essential intellectual property rights, which include author's right and neighbouing rights,  commercial and industrial property rights: trademarks, patents, industrial designs and models, trade secrets, and other subjects. Further, the course includes the detailed explanation of the international development of intellectual property rights, and in particular their international conventions.

BA- The course explores the general principles of commercial law governing commercial papers. The particular rules relating to cheques, promissory notes, and other commercial papers are examined. BA- This course deals with the general theory of companies; their types whether thgey are shareholding, ordinary or mixed. This course also deals with the legal system of bankruptcy, the pre-conditions in order to issue a decision of bankruptcy and the legal effects of on such a decision. MA- (English taught) A general study of the following subjects: identification of trademarks, their functions, the way of acquiring and protecting trademarks, the procedures of registering trademarks and cancelling them, as well as identifying geographical indications, and the ways of their protection, followed by an analytical study of certain topics, such as the protection of well-known trademarks, and the international registration system for trademarks and geographical indications.
