This course focuses on the bio-psycho-social responses of adults to actual and high risk conditions that affect their functional health patterns. These conditions may be acute or long term and the focus will be on selected functional health patterns: Health perception-health management, and activity-exercise patterns. The nursing process will be used as a framework to formulate nursing diagnoses and identify nursing interventions directed towards promoting, maintaining and restoring the health of adults and their families
second year
  
This course provides an overview of research methods, including various research designs appropriate for studying health care phenomena. The course will focus on utilizing nursing research in the development of nursing knowledge. The student will be introduced to quantitative and qualitative methods of nursing research and will have the chance to develop a research proposal in his/her own area of specialty.

This course emphasize on the nature and characteristics of the most commonly used statistical techniques (descriptive statistics, correlation and linear regression, factor analysis, and elementary hypothesis testing), and their applicability to specific health care problems within the context of nursing.  Students develop skills and knowledge in the use of computing software and to reinforce learning through course work and assignments, including the analysis of data and interpret computer output.

This course, theory and clinical, provides the student with the advanced knowledge, attitudes and skills needed to provide comprehensive nursing care for patients with critical health conditions. The course focuses on preparing students to assist the patient and his family to adapt to their conditions and achieve the optimal level of care with the minimum disabilities. The nursing process provides a framework in providing nursing care for individuals within altered physiological health patterns. The course helps the student to explore scientific literature and utilize research findings in planning and providing comprehensive nursing care for patients in critical care units.

This introductory course orients the beginner-nursing student to the nature of professional nursing, its history, and professional nursing roles. It is designed to provide the student with the basic knowledge and attitudes when providing care for clients and their families. It includes the following basic concepts of wellness, health, caring, nursing profession, and nursing process. It also introduces the student to communication and interpersonal relationships which prepare him/her to become effective member in a collaborative health care team. Critical thinking and decision-making will be also addressed as a guide for a safe, competent, and skillful nursing practice.
First Year
  
This course is designed to provide pharmacy student with essential knowledge and skills related to the basic physiological human needs and their alterations adherent to specific functional health patterns included health perception- health management, activity exercise, nutritional metabolic, and elimination patterns.
Fifth Year
  
This course is designed to provide nursing student with essential knowledge and skills related to the basic physiological and psychosocial human needs and their alterations according to the functional health patterns.
First yaer
  
This course prepares the nurse to practice as an advanced practitioner in providing care to critically ill patients and their families.  The course is composed of theoretical part and clinical part, the theoretical component of the course will focus on the psychosocial health and other issues within the critical care environment.  These patterns will guide the discussions concerning the health and nursing care needs of critically ill patients in addition to utilizing the nursing process in providing nursing care for this group of patients.  Students are expected to read the latest literature related to the topics of discussion.  The practicum will focus on providing the students with relevant clinical experience in a variety of critical care settings.

This graduate program is intended to stimulate active learning and the student’s ability to take responsibility for their personal and professional development. Although each student possesses a unique knowledge and experience, personal expectations, aims, and a personal learning style, this course is designed to provide the graduate students with specialized knowledge and skills in emergency and disaster nursing care. In addition to strengthen the students’ capability of independent and clinical judgment, the course will also provide them with the opportunity to enhance their ability to independently solve problems and follow the development of advanced knowledge within the field of emergency care and disaster planning.

First Year
  
This course provides the students with the basic knowledge and skills in the first aid of adult individuals in non-hospital settings. This course helps the students to care for victims with injury or sudden illness before professional emergency treatment is available. The main aims of the course are to prepare the students to assist in the assessment and intervention of caring of victims in the accident scene and to prevent possible complications.
First Year
  
This course introduces students to principles of loss, grieving, death and dying process. It helps students to understand experiences of loss, grieving, and death at some time during victim’s life.
2012-2013
  
An overview of the administrative and managerial practices in the area of
safety and fire protection, Civil security management, fire department, medical and
health organizations, and including supervision, leadership, and morale of personnel
and equipment.
2013
  
This course introduces students to principles of general health safety, health care, personal health, drugs misused and addiction, and environmental health. The course as well emphasizes on diseases and prevention especially prevention of communicable diseases.
