Dr. Naji B. Batayneh received his Ph.D in biochemistry from Wayne State university(WSU)/ USA in 1982 . He joined the faculty of science , Department of biological sciences at the university of Jordan as instructor 1970. He has been teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in the field of biochemistry , bioenergetics , metabolism , molecular biology and general biology since then . He supervised number of graduate students and published number of articles in refereed journals. Dr. Batayneh is the author of a book in biochemistry : under the title: Seiries in sciences of biochemistry 1- Basic principles and biochemical calculations 2- Chemistry of Biological System 3- Chemistry of vitamins , enzymes and proteins 4- Bioenergetics and he is now active in writing more of such biochemistry books as Metabolism , Molecular Bioogy and biochemistry laboratory manual . His research capacity in different field of biochemistry and public health .
حصل الدكتور البطاينة على شهادة الدكتوراه في الكيمياء الحيوية من جامعة وين الحكومية في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية عام 1982 . و لقد التحق بالجامعة الأردنية / كلية العلوم / قسم العلوم الحياتية كمعيد عام 1970 . وهو ما زال يدرس العديد من المواد لطلبة الدراسات الدنيا والعليا في الكيمياء الحيوية والطاقة الحيوية و الأيض و البيولوجيا الجزيئية و البيولوجيا العامة . و لقد اشرف على عدد من طلبة الدراسات العليا ونشر عدد من النشرات العلمية في مجلات محكمة . والدكتور البطاينة مؤلف لكتاب في الكيمياء الحيوية تحت عنوان سلسلة علم الكيمياء الحيوية:1- مفاهيم أساسية وعمليات حسابية 2- كيمياء النظام البيولوجي 3- كيمياء الفيتامينات والانزيمات والبروتينات4- الطاقة الحيوية . وهو يعمل الآن جاهدا على تأليف المزيد من كتب في الكيمياء الحيوية مثل الأيض و البيولوجيا الجزيئية ومختبر الكيمياء الحيوية. وهو ذو اهتمامات بحثية متنوعة في مجال الكيمياء الحيوية و الصحة العامة .
