I earned a PhD in
experimental atomic physics from Kansas State University in 1993, and served
as a postdoctoral fellow at Argonne National Laboratory, USA, before joining
the University of Nevada in Reno as a faculty member in 1995. I moved to the Hashemite University, Jordan,
in 2002 and to the University of Jordan in 2005, where I have been serving as Director
of the Office of International Relations since 2008.
