A database that contains abstracts of systematic reviews and randomized controlled trials relevant to occupational therapy. Trials have been critically appraised and rated to assist you to evaluate their validity and interpretability. These ratings will help you to judge the quality and usefulness of trials for informing clinical interventions.
 
  
Contains a series of critically appraised topics (or CATs) produced by practitioners and by Occupational Therapy students at the University of Western Sydney, Australia.  A critically appraised topic (or CAT) is a short summary of evidence on a topic of interest, usually focussed around a clinical question. A CAT is like a shorter and less rigorous version of a systematic review, summarising the best available research evidence on a topic. Also available on this site are links to other Evidence-Based Practice resources.
 
  
Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists
This database includes the periodicals of the Canadian Journal of Occupational Therapy and Occupational Therapy Now for the years 1998-present as well as other position statements and papers which are accessible on the CAOT web site.
