Studying some physical properties of Mercuric lodide (Hgl2) such as photoconductivity, dielectric constant and a.c. impedance to investigate the feasibility of Hgl crystals as nuclear radiation detectors at room temperature .

Electrical and dielectric properties of pb2 CrO5 ceramic material have been investigated for a surface – electrode configuration. Study of a thin-electrode configuration . Is in progress . Concerning this work , there is now a rigorous collaboration with Professor K. Toda (Department of Electrical Engineering, the National Defense Academy, Japan) .
