Hossam Faris is an Assistant Professor at Business Information Technology Department/
King Abdulla II, School for Information Technology, The University of Jordan. He received his
BA, MS in Computer Science from Yarmouk University and Al-Balqa Applied University,
Jordan in 2004 and 2008, respectively with excellent rates. He received a full scholarship award to peruse his PhD in e-business at the University of Salento, Italy. He obtained his PhD in 2011. His research interests include knowledge management systems, ontologies, e-business, search and retrieval
algorithms and genetic algorithms.
