University of Jordan, Amman, Jordan.

Research experience:

·         Natural products: investigating the chemical constituents of medicinal plants; which involved structural elucidation of many complex natural products and the use of the latest chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques including different 2D-NMR experiments.

·         Voltammetric studies of some natural products and their complexes with toxic heavy metals.

·         Bioorganic Chemistry:

1.       Microbial transformation of organic compounds using different microorganisms.

2.       Drug discovery using different assays which includes studying enzyme inhibition, enzyme kinetics followed by modeling experiments. In addition to studying of antimicrobial activities of many organic compounds.

Teaching experience:

Courses taught: Fundamentals of chemistry, organic chemistry, and systematic identification of organic compounds.
