Collection of wild plants representing flora of a region or flora of the country. Collections from Jordan, Baharain, Saudi Arabia and other places were made. Local herbaria as well as national herbaria have been made in Jordan and Bahrain.

. TISSUE CULTURE USE:
                A. I have spend a period of one year training on the use of tissue culture at the     
                University of Reading, UK. Were I was able to do the following:
                                1. Production of plants from the haploid microspores of Brassica napus.
                                2. Propagation of banana plants.
                                3. Handling and sub culturing of cell suspension.
                                4. Potato explanting and selection especially to salinity and drought.
                                5. Lupinus embryo rescue and reproduction from hypocotyls.
B. Training at the micro propagation unit, Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew on the use of the tissue culture for the reproduction of some rare and endangered species of Orchids, Ferns, Cactus & succulents and others.
