My name is Dr. Mohammad Hanaqtah an assistant professor of translation and interpretation studies at the University of Jordan. My research interests focus on empirical and interdisciplinary approaches to translation studies. I am also interested in the interdisciplinary study of cross-cultural communication, which will generate new insights, and challenge the ways in which we understand how languages, people, and ideas interact through translation. I am also interested in creativity in interpretation, translation, co-translation, and the ways that art, translation, and text-making can interact. My research interests spread across interpretation and, translation studies. I keep inspiring students to become good translators, and interpreters for themselves and keep learning beyond their university years.
