The Social Committee at the Department of English Language & Literature caters for social events related to members of staff such as congratulations on happy occasions (e.g. marriage, academic promotion) and condolences on sad occasions (e.g. death of a family member).
  
The Program Plan Committee at the Department of English Language & Literature is responsible for designing the courses of the Program the Department offers and for making any necessary changes on that plan.
