Dr. Qais Ali Mahafzah is an Associate Professor of Commercial Law at the Faculty of Law / University of Jordan. He is also an attorney at law and partner at Gedara for Legal Services & Arbitration (GLSA) Law Firm. Dr. Mahafzah was a Board of Trustees Member at Jordan University of Science & Technology (JUST) (October 2009-October 2010). He was the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Law at the University of Jordan (2005-2007). Dr. Mahafzah graduated from the University of Jordan with an LL.B in Law (1994), Masters in International Commercial Law (1997) University of Aberdeen/UK, PhD in Maritime Commercial Law (2002) University of Durham/UK, and Diploma in Trade Policy and Multi Lateral Trading Systems (WTO/AMF) (2003).
