This course focus on plant structure,classification,growth, reproduction and utilization of cultivated plants. Also, discusses plant identification ,nomenclature and plant propagation by sexual and a sexual means.Photosynthesies,respiration ,translocation besides soil and water management will be cover through this course .
2nd year
  
General university prerequisite course dealing with the agricultural sectors in Jordan . Plant production (Fruit trees, vegetables and Field crops) and animal livestock (Poultry, Sheep) issues will be discusses besides that, the problems and solutions that this sector suffer  such as water resources scarcity and marketing problems. Also this course discuss the different institutions that work side by side with the Ministry of Agriculture to assist the farmers.
From 1st to 4th year.
  
General University Prerequisite course give the student a good information's about how to design a garden, what the kinds of plants that suitable for each season or for certain purposes. The students will become familiar how to plant a fruit tree and what type of agricultural practices that need such ; soil type, kinds of amendments and how to train and prune fruit trees. Besides that, train student how to do a good business from the home garden   and how to create a good environment for family members in the garden.
1st-4th year.
  
Through this course the students will gaining a practical implementation in different subjects in fruit trees such as; orchard layout, propagation by sexual and asexual methods, cultural practices for fruit trees i.e. training,pruning,irrigation methods,fertilization,pollination and proper ways for harvesting and packaging . Also, the students will gain awareness about international certificate and its applications in the farm such Global GAP .Besides that, at the end of the course the students will have an opportunity to visit packing and cooling facility to see how deal with different commodities from picking time tell packaging for export purposes.
4th year.
  
To awareness of students for useful internet sites in different post-harvest subjects ;give the students the principles of post-harvest concepts and factor's that affecting on the fruit quality related to pre or post-harvest factor's also understanding current technologies and procedures for harvesting systems; maturity indices and different cooling systems; packaging and post-harvest losses also the course will address the post-harvest systems for a number of commodities.
Fourth year
  
This course focuses on understand the morphology , cultural practices , management and production requirements of the major fruit trees grow locally weather evergreen trees such Olive , Citrus , Date palm , and Banana also the deciduous trees as Peach , Cherry , Pistachio , Grapes , Fig , and Pomegranate .The students in this course will expose to production practices through field visit for working orchard . The students will have an opportunity to apply the principles , concepts and information from the class and field trip to their own situations in production .
