The course provides the students with the  knowledge of GIS in the areas of natural resources management.  The course focuses on the main components of GIS, the methods of spatial analysis in addition to data models used in GIS. The practical is focused on exercises with ESRI ArcGIS software so the student will gain both theoritical and application skills.
