On behalf of the Occupational Therapy Department at the University of Jordan, welcome to my home page

Our occupational therapy program offers 4 years undergraduate bachelor degree that is accredited by the World Federation of Occupational Therapy

Our mission is to prepare graduates who are creative, competent and compassionate of the highest quality committed to their profession and their country

Our department consists of 4 young faculty members who are devoted to our students and profession with an expertise in pediatrics, neurology, psychiatry and the art and theory of occupational therapy. In addition we have 5 clinical supervisors who have vast clinical experience in all major areas of practice.

We have exciting curriculum that covers the theoretical and clinical foundations of practice in areas of practice.

We just introduced a contemporary curriculum in the fall of 2013 that meets the standards of the special accreditation and the World Federation of Occupational Therapy.

Most of our classes are offered in the fifth floor of the Rehabilitation Sciences Faculty building. This helped give our students the privacy and cohesive atmosphere in our department. Students learn in small classes and have ongoing patient contact and hands on learning experiences.

 I am honored and pleased to serve this department and faculty in the university of Jordan and will look forward to the day when our fellow Jordanian occupational therapists are fully enabled, and qualified to withstand the significant responsibilities of their career as well as playing an effective leadership role in Jordan and in the region as well.
