Yanal S Faouri (M’16, SM’19) was born in Amman, Jordan,
in 1985. He received the BSc. degree in electrical engineering from the
University of Jordan, Amman, Jordan, in 2007, and the MSc. and PhD. degrees in
electrical engineering from the King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals
(KFUPM) Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, in 2010 and 2014, respectively.
In
2014, he joined the Department of Electrical Engineering, Philadelphia University
and currently, he is an Assistant Professor with the Department of Electrical
Engineering at the University of Jordan since September 2015. His current
research interests include antenna design, applied electromagnetics, RF and
microwave circuit design, dielectric-loaded waveguides and electromagnetic compatibility.
Dr. Faouri is a member of the Jordan Engineering Association (JEA).
