An Introduction to The Study Of History
This course explores the definition of history, and the importance of the study of History. In addition, Theories intermitting the historical process are explained, with special emphasis on Muslim historians and Muslim historiography.

Constitutional institutions from 1928 to 1946, Jordan's Nationalistic Movement from 1921-1946. Jordan's external relation. Social and economic life in Jordan and Palestine. Jordan after independence: "1946-1975", 1948 War. The unity of the two banks, 1967 War Jordan's endeavors to regain the West bank.

تعد التربية الوطنية امتداداً عضوياً وظيفياً لفلسفة التربية والتعليم باعتبارها بعداً من أبعاد الإستراتيجية الوطنية للتعليم العالي وتستمد " التربية الوطنية" كمادة علمية تربوية لطلبة الجامعات الأردنية من الأصول الاجتماعية الثقافية للمجتمع الأردني العربي الإسلامي، ومن العلوم الأخرى كالعلوم السياسية وعلم الاجتماع، والتاريخ وغيرها. وتنطلق مادة " التربية الوطنية " من مجموعة الثوابت الأردنية وعلى رأسها العقيدة الإسلامية السمحاء. ومبادئ الثورة العربية الكبرى. والدستور الأردني والتجربة الوطنية والقومية والعالمية. والهدف العام من تدريس هذه المادة يتمحور في ثلاثة أبعاد رئيسية هي: ترسيخ الانتماء والولاء والاعتزاز بالوطن أرضاً وشعباً ونظاماً. وتأهيل الطلبة للقيام بأدوارهم المختلفة كمواطنين أردنيين داعمين ومشاركين في مسيرة التنمية الوطنية الشاملة. وإكساب الطلبة مرجعية معرفية مفاهيمية قيمية مهارية تمكنهم من الالتزام بالمواطنة والديمقراطية والسلوك الحضاري.

The History of the Arabs in the Pre-Islamic period
This course covers the history of the Arabs in the Arabian Peninsula. Starting from 1600 B.C up to the Rise of Islam, concentrating mostly on the cultural role played by the Arab states in Southern Arabia ( Yemen ) and other groups within Arabia, and outside Arabia. Nabeteans , Palmyra’s etc… Special emphasis will be given to Political, economic, religious and social condition of the Arabs before the rise of Islam .
