Dr Mariam Al-Abdallah qualified as a Bachelor in Dental Surgery from the
Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Jordan in July 2000
She started an Orthodontic postgraduate training at
the University of Manchester and graduated in 2005 and was awarded the Master
of Science degree (MSc) in Orthodontics.
She obtained the membership in orthodontics from
the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2005 and was awarded the John
Smith Medal for the outstanding performance during the exams.
Dr
Al-Abdallah started the degree of Philosophy in Orthodontics at the University
of Manchester and was awarded the PhD degree in 2008.
In September 2008 she joined the Family of
Dentistry at the University of Jordan.
Research interest includes reliability and
validity studies, 3D Orthodontic tooth movement, and efficiency of treatment of
different orthodontic appliances
