RESPONSIBILITIES IN MY CURRENT POSITION
1- Running a busy family practice clinic along with supervising the clinical training of the postgraduate candidates and undergraduate students, from 2003-2019.
2- Organizing, teaching and supervising the training of candidates in the university
postgraduate training program in family practice which is a 4 years training
program  (Certificate of High Specialty in family practice) after which the
candidate is eligible to set the Jordanian Board in family practice, for the years
2002-2016. And I am an examiner for the postgraduate students for the final exam yearly on May for first, second, third and fourth years.
3- Me and my colleagues designed the first curriculum for Family Medicine for undergraduate students in the University of Jordan 2007.
4- Teaching Family Medicine for undergraduate students (the fifth year) in Jordan
University Hospital a course of family medicine for all the students in the fifth year in the (training and  tutorials, communication skills, patient centered medicine, and common problem solving in family medicine).I am an examiner in this course from the start of the program  until 2019.
5- Teaching the clinical introductory course for the 4th year medical
undergraduate students(I am teaching the students communication skills, The
consultation, hypotheticodeductive method of problem solving, for 11 years,2004-2016.
6- Starting from Sept 2005, I was sharing in the teaching of a course on Health
assessment for the postgraduate nursing students (masters level), 2006, 2007.I was
an examiner in the course.
7- I gave lectures in the Jordan Medical Council for excellence year students in June, 2014,2015.

RESEARCH  INTERESTS

I-                   To combat cardio metabolic syndrome:
I am interested in working in the diagnosis, prevention and management of cardio metabolic syndrome and its components during my family practice clinic time and by conducting research on cardio metabolic syndrome.
-I am the coordinator of the Jordan Coalition to Combat Cardio Metabolic Syndrome (a national committee). Started since the 25th of January, 2012 (five meetings held so far) in the faculty of medicine, the University of Jordan. With attendants from teaching staff from the University of Jordan (headed by the dean of the faculty of medicine in the University of Jordan) and Jordan University of Science and Technology and the head of the non-communicable diseases department in the Jordanian Ministry of Health . The American College of Cardiology recognized the project entitled “The International Coalition to Combat Cardio Metabolic Syndrome” as its 2012 ACC-MENA collaborative research project and named it “The Middle East Million Hearts Campaign” and Jordan will constitute a part of this project. 
 - Attended conferences to combat cardio metabolic syndrome:
1- Course on the "Complex management of systems failure in the cardiac patient" and workshop on "Cardio Metabolic Syndrome". Amman – Jordan (23-25/10/2011).
2- Mini summit on Cardio Metabolic Syndrome. Atlanta – USA (13-14/10/2011). 3- Towards a global coalition to combat Cardio Metabolic Syndrome. A workshop and roundtable discussion. Dubai – UAE (18/4/2012) in which I am a speaker to report about the Jordan Coalition to Combat Cardio Metabolic Syndrome.
- I was an author in (14) published or accepted peer-reviewed original articles regarding cardio metabolic syndrome and its components.
II- Patient centered medicine and communication skills:
-Research: research on patients' and residents evaluation of patient centeredness and communication skills of physicians in Jordan University Hospital.
-Experience in communication skills:
1- Active member in a course in New Zealand in teaching and learning communication skills in family practice for one year.
2- A course in Queen Mary's Hospital in teaching communication skills, chosen by the faculty of medicine in
3- A course from Canada in teaching communication for ten years kills. Amman – Jordan.
4- I have been teaching communication skills f for postgraduate family medicine residency.
5- I gave a course for paediatrics department (post graduate residents) teaching communication skills (5 hours).
6- I teach undergraduates (forth year) doctor patient communication skills and reasoning skills from 2003 – 2012 in the faculty of medicine in Jordan University.
7- I teach all the students in the fifth year doctor patient communication skills when they have their rotation in our family medicine clinic (practical with patients in the clinics) as a part of their rotation, every 10 students stay for 2 weeks in the clinics 2005-20012

3- I was responsible for giving lectures on osteoporosis (giving a brief about my 5 papers on osteoporosis)  and arrangement with family physicians to perform free medical checkups, in a free open medical day in Jordan Association for Woman and Child, one full day 2013, 2014, 2015.
4- Participated in the scientific committee of the Health Summit Forum I, Aging and Health. Amman – Jordan (19-21/6/2014).
5- I gave lectures in Jordan University Hospital about communication skills and their effect on reducing violence in workplace, 2014 and 2015. The lectures were targeted to:

12.      تقديم عرض حول تعدد الأدوية والوصفات الطبية الغير مناسبة لدى كبار السن ضمن فعاليات الأسبوع العلمي في الاحتفالية الخمسين لتأسيس الجامعة الأردنية (2013).
