Worked on setting up and calibrating X-ray Fluorescence Spectrometer (Phillips PW2830) for the characterization of thin films such as those used in the TiAlN resistor and chalcoginide memory element. Layers characterized and calibrated via cross calibration with RBS data included TiAlN, GeSbTe, GeSbTe/TiW, TiW, Ti, TiN, Al/Cu, Co/Ti, PSG, Cu, Au, Cr/Cu/Au, Pb/Sn. Sotware used is Phillips SuperQ.
