Curriculum Vitae
Timur
Ibrahimov was born in 1958. He started to play violin at age
of 7 and finished Baku National Music College in 1977. He
graduated
from Azerbaijan State High Music
Conservatory in 1982 and received
his Master Degree in violin (as teacher,
artist of a chamber ensembles
and soloist of symphonic
orchestra).
From 1980 to 1991 he has become a member and later a concertmaster
of the Azerbaijan State Philharmonic
Symphonic Orchestra. At the same
time from 1982 to 1991 he taught at the National
Music College. From
1992 to 1997 he worked in Damascus High Music School and Syrian
National
Symphonic Orchestra.
From 1997 to 2007 he is a violin teacher at the National Music
Conservatory and concertmaster of the Amman
Symphonic Orchestra
in Jordan.
From 2009 to present time he is a violin instructor in the University
of
Jordan (The College of
Arts and Design).
During his teaching years in Jordan many of his students have
received
an Advanced certificates and Diplomas from Royal
School of Music
(England) and Boulogne-Billancourt
Conservatory (France). Now some
of his students continue study and working in different
countries such as
England,
USA, Canada, Germany, France…
As a soloist and a member of chamber ensembles or symphonic
orchestra he performed in Azerbaijan, Russia, Jordan,
Ukraine, Turkey,
Kazakhstan,
Spain, Uzbekistan, Syria, Georgia, Tunisia, Lebanon,
Egypt,
Kuwait…
Married. 2 children.
He
fluently speaks azerbaijanian, russian, turkish, english and arabic languages.
His
total teaching experience is over 34 years.
His total orchestral experience
is over 30 years.
